I used freeware Delphi components in creating this program. They are available from the Delphi Super Page (http://SunSite.Informatik.RWTH-Aachen.DE/delphi/mirrors.htm); I am also obliged to send them (and their source code) to you at no charge if you so desire.
The components are DiskCaps and TGIFImage.
DiskCaps can retireve the capabilities of any drive. I use it to look for your CDROM. It was written on 15.07.97 by Radoslaw Przybyl, PRO-media CD, Poland (promedia@lodz.pdi.net). Thanks!
TGIFImage is a TGraphic implementation of the GIF89a graphics format. I used Version 2.0, Release 3, of 26-APR-1998. It's authors are Anders Melander, anders@melander.dk, Filip Larsen filip@post4.tele.dk and Reinier Sterkenburg. TGIFImage is Copyright © 1997,98 Anders Melander. All rights reserved.
